The University of Edinburgh Guide to Information

Welcome to the University of Edinburgh Guide to Information

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) requires that all Scottish public authorities make certain types of information available routinely, and provide a guide to information telling the public how to access that information.

This website contains the University''s Guide to Information which explains how information available through the publication scheme can be accessed. You can browse and search the scheme through the links on these pages.

In most cases the Guide points to information that is available on the University website, where this is the case a link is given to the appropriate web page. In a few cases, information is only available in hardcopy. Where this is the case, the publication scheme will tell you how to request a copy.

A printout of the Guide to Information is available by selecting the printer friendly link below and printing the document on your printer. Alternatively, you can request a paper copy of the Guide to Information by contacting the Records Management Section; please click on the "contact" link at the top of the page.

The University of Edinburgh is a charitable body, registered in Scotland, with registration number SC005336
